My friend freaks me out - January 25th 2010, 03:03 PM

Ok, so one of my best friends is really freaking me out. Last week, on wednesday or thuesday, I don't know anymore, he was really irritated and bad-tempered at school. OK. It happens to everyone. The day after he wasn't at school and on Friday he came back to school. He is really depressed, since then. He nearly says nothing. Everything we try to say to him, he takes bad or he couples it immediately to sex. He's irritating. He's irritating his girlfriend as well. And he told to some of my friends that he has done something very bad, and that we would hate him, think of him like an afwul person if he would tell what he has done.
I'm really scared, what sould I do? He don't want to say anything. He don't even listen to me anymore.

Wow that's tough. There must be something seriously wrong, if his mood changed so quickly like that. I know you care alot about your friend, but the best thing to do right now is let him cool off. Let him come to you. If you push and pry into his life it could drive him away. Just let him know that you could never hate him, and that you're always there for him. Just be supportive right now, that's about all you can do for now.

Hey there.

This sounds like you're in a really difficult situation. Im going to be honest and tell you im not sure what will help him. However, i think you just need to be there for him. Dont constantly be around him asking questions, just every so often, just say im here if you need to talk, and myabe hug him. I would also suggest if it carries on, to talk to a teacher. I know you may be unsure about this, but he may thank you in a few months time.

You sound like a really lovely friend and he's lucky he has you.

Take care.

Hi There

Its good of you to decide to ask for help, very brave.

This is some situation you have yourself in.

In my opinion, I would be there for him. Dont force him to say anything he doesnt want to, and dont go mad reassuring him that everything will be fine. Just let him know you will be there for him, and maybe drop a line that you care.

But no pressure, or anything to get him angrier.
