Crying? - May 12th 2010, 05:17 AM

I'd like to first apologize to those who know me on Teenhelp, as they should know that I've not been on lately. However, as most already know, school and work reach a point where they become overwhelming, leaving one with little time to do much else. But I digress. I've had a flurry of unhappiness lately, partially related to my OCD, partially related to feelings being kept inside. Perhaps I'll reveal the true nature behind my problem to you guys soon, but this is no time for that. At the moment, what I really crave is to let it out in the form of crying. Unfortunately, I have, at some point in my life, forgotten how to cry, it would seem. I'm not sure if it's due to fear of my brother making fun of me for it, or not having the need to do so in over five years. However, I really need it now, and am unable to. The question I propose to you is this: How do I cry? Are there any specific ways of doing so that would be effective? Any tips you've got would be helpful. Thank you! -Luke

Hey Luke!
I think the most effectve way to cry would be to let yourself cry. Now i know this sounds crazy, but you need to watch something sad and let yourself. I think you could have blocked yourself from crying and need to let out some of your feelings. So like i said, watch a sad movie, read a sad book....Hope i helped. Feel free to PM me anytime.

Please feel free to PM me. I love to help others, and can be an ear to talk to, a shoulder to cry on, or a face to scream at. <3
