Unhappy All these dreams... - July 2nd 2010, 02:14 PM

Why do I keep having all these dreams that my boyfriend either:
- Leaves me for his ex
- Just leaves me for no reason
- Cheats on me and tells me
or - Cheats on me and then I catch him
What do they mean? They really scare me and I have them often... a few times a week... they always have me waking up crying.

Two is better than one.

If those are the things you are worrying about often, then they will have a tendency to show up in your dreams. Dreams, in general, are usually about the things that are bothering us or things that were bothering us and we didn't even realize it.

If you're worried about him leaving/cheating or anything else like that, you may want to try having a talk with him about all of it. That way you can bring some peace to all the worrying and it may help the dreams subside. =]

Hey there Amber,

I'm sorry to hear that you have been having these nightmares, I can imagine that they could be quite distressing for you.
It is true that our dreams often reflect what we have been thinking about a lot or our insecurities or worries. It's often your subconscious making you aware of some of these things.

I think that the best thing to do would be to try and talk to your boyfriend about your concerns and these dreams you are having, in order to free up your mind a little and settle you. Perhaps writing down any thoughts or worries before you go to sleep could help to clear your mind, too.

Take care of yourself.
