Anyone got any kind of experience in this? - August 5th 2010, 07:08 PM

I got past my hardest time of depression last year and its changed and come back in different ways. I've been tired and stressed from it on and off, and been ill generally, not sure why really but maybe as a result of the depression? Lost all motivation. Thing is, what IS out of character for me is the fact that i'm having massive violent moodswings, and no they aren't due to hormones for that time of the month, its all month. My teachers have noticed and literally i've just been flipping out one second and laughing another. I'm usually really really tired but sometimes (rarely) i get this massive kick of energy. Today i was listening to some music that was my ex's favourite music and i was remembering and smiling, then i started laughing quite hard and suddenly found myself crying. I've always been fairly balanced with my moods, even when i had depression i would either be angry or sad, but whatever it was was predictable. I don't know what to think of these moodswings, anyone help?

Ohhhhh, I've been going through the same thing. Depression one second, elation the next. It sucks. I really really wish I could give you some help but I don't know what to do about it myself All I can tell you is you're not alone!! Maybe you could try writing down your feelings and what you think might have set off the mood swing, when it happens, and you might start to learn to be able to control how you're feeling a little better?? It's just an idea, sorry I can't give you better advice But I hope things get better. xxx
