Well, I don't know if that would actually be OCD, since there are some other things that can cause someone to over-check things (i.e. paranoia, or OCPD (which is Obessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder, a bit different).
Honestly, either way, I'd suggest you talk to a mental health professional. Perhaps a therapist? There could be a different underlying cause, first of all (events in life can change your perspective, for one). But, before you do that, talk to your family doctor. They'll help you on the right path. Also, they'd probably have some clue, or be able to get an idea, of if OCD has a genetic factor for you. |
