Crying when receiving compliments -

I was just wondering if anyone else has a problem with crying when they receive compliments? When people tell me that I am a good writer, a good person, or a truly sweet person it actually makes me cry! I don't know why, if it is because I just can't believe it, or something else. Anyone have any ideas? I would like to stop if I can because it's weird...

Maybe its just so overwhelming hearing compliments that you just aren't quite sure how to handle it? It may also be that you have over productive tear ducts, my friend has this and she cries often.

This happens to me.
It goes like this - I love to make people happy I dont like my poems etc If my poems etc make people happy, then I just get overwhelmed cause it's an acceptance I can't make on my own. Hey, I'm Jon!
