Im scared

I have OCD and depression, my doctor decreased my medicine dose and now I'm scared I'm slipping back into my old ways of instability and Idk what to do I'm scared. Advice please?

It's important to call your doctor right away. Tell your parents how you are feeling so they can keep an eye on you. Do you know why he decreased your medicine? And what exactly are you scared about? If your doctor increases your medicine back to what it was before you should be okay again. Just right now, keep yourself safe and tell a trusted adult.

I have some other health problem.s and that I am going to end up slipping back into my old ways again. And I did.

hey, i think you should contact your doctor straight away, tell him/her how you have been feeling and that the decrease on your dosage is making you unhappy. What are your other problems? It's okay if you'd prefer not too say but if you feel like your in danger of hurting yourself call someone straight away. It's not good to be on your own when you feel like that.

I have problems with constipation so they lowered my meds to see if it will help and it has a little but my stepmom is putting me back on my old rx and letting me stay on. That for now.

Just take a deep breath and tell yourself that everything will be ok, because it will be. Don't be scared because tons of people go through this and come out happier than ever! Talk to someone you trust about this, whether its your family, friends, doctor or even a therapist. Surround yourself with amazing people who make you happy no matter what and you'll get through this. Don't be scared, everything will be ok(:

Thank you...I'm trying, but last night I cut really badly for the first time in like 3 months. [I've cut within that time, just not to this extent.]

I know it can be hard but have you talked to your doctor about this? Sometimes the side of effects of the medications may be annoying but is worth it if it keeps something else stable.

Give her a phone call and leave a message. Something like this shouldn't have to wait two months. If you can't get in touch with her talk to your parents about it and maybe they can find a way for you to see someone or get your medicine changed.

Hi, I have ocd as well. Not many people understand the daily struggles we face. A site that helped me with my OCD was stuckinadoorway.org, what kind of OCD do you have?

I'm the type that everything has to be in order and straight and basically perfect. Its hard at school, because kids tease me about it...:/

I'm so sorry. I have pure o so no physical compulsions only mental ones. But that site has helped me so much it is set up similar to this one, it has different categories of forums but there are many people around our age n there.
