ok so yesterday my dr put me on some anti depressants which i took last night (this is a new med 4 me) anyway i woke up this morning not feeling right and stuttering like crazy with twitched (like tarets (i so cant spell,lol)) so i went bak to the dr and there is nothing they can do till it gets worse...this is not the 1st time ive had this reaction and if its like last time it will..and it will last at least a week but the worst thing is its driving me insane (along with my family)...its doing my head in...i went to the dr to get better not to feel worse and im trying to put on a good front about it but its sooooo not easy.
i donno...really needed to vent (n not stutter while doing it too) rizz

I find it odd that it haappens overnight from one dose. Anyways, if it only lasts a week then that's not so bad. I stutter and twitch from my medication except its permanent as long as I take it lol, its not so bad. If your doctor put you on the medication and they're fine knowing you have this effect then they surely must believe the possible pros of this drug far outweigh the con of stuttering.

Hey, Rhiannon! I'm sorry that you're having such negative side effects as a result of taking this new anti-depressant. Unfortunately, that is one of the risks of taking a new medication - you can't know with absolute certainty how well it will work for you. I don't want you to be discouraged from this incident, though! There are plenty of people who have to try several different medications before they find one that works for them. Sometimes, they have to use a combination of medications, or they have to wait several weeks before seeing any results.
