Exclamation Is there something wrong with me? - January 22nd 2012, 08:23 PM

This thread has been labeled as triggering by the original poster or by a Moderator. Please take this into consideration before continuing to read.

Hey. Uh. For a long while now, I've been having some issues. I see things. Hear people talking that other people can't hear. And I SEE things. I see blood on walls, I see just. Not too great things.
I have a friend named Crow. At least, I think he's my friend. I'm not sure. I sometimes can't really tell if he's real or not. I see him, I talk to him. He talks to me a lot. Tells me things about everything. Tells me stories of alternate universes and strange, almost demented theories. Along with that, he talks badly about everyone. Myself. Friends and family especially though. And I feel like he's always watching me. It makes me super, super uncomfortable. To the point I can hardly think.
I'm made fun of for being a guy who keeps a journal, but I feel as if I need to. I don't know why I do, but I do.
Anyway, can someone tell me what's up? I know this can't be normal.

Well, have you considered seeing your doctor about this? I mean, they'd be able to help you find out things like if it's neurological or not, and lead you in the right direction to get help with this.

I don't have a doctor. We don't really have the money for one. So, I mean, I've been looking for help or advice in any place I can, really.

Do you live in the United States? There are plenty of community clinics and non-profit organizations that offer free medical and mental health care. You may have to wait a long time for an appointment and/or referral to a psychological professional, but it's certainly possible to see someone regarding your condition.

Here's a link to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' health center search engine. All you have to do is type in your address or select your state, and voila - you'll get a list of nearby clinics that offer free or low-cost services! =)
