Keetones in urine? - May 14th 2016, 12:44 AM

After no help from the ER, went to primary care and they found keetones and blood in my urine... He said this could be diabetes or it may be nothing, I don't know. Getting more tests done, and hoping not to be forced into ER again. Any of you have experience with this? My heart rate was 122 and blood pressure 90/60. Very dehydrated but having energy to keep hydrated

we've escaped our capture

Laugh loudly, sing like no one's listening, dance like no one's watching, stay in the moment, get that adrenaline pumpin', deep breaths, be easy on yourself <3 PM me

I'm not a doctor, but something tells me that being dehydrated may be the root cause of a lot of those symptoms.

Get hydrated man, your body needs water, lots of it....so drink water ok?
Just that alone will help make you feel better in some ways

When your body is starving, it digests it's own cells. Ketones are released during this process. This is likely why there is ketones in your urine. I've never been forced into the ER, but from what I know, if you're in physical danger you may be kept in for stabilization and then referred to mental health teams after discharge- but I'm in the UK so it may be different in the USA.

Chin up x

Take as long as you need.
