Easy foods to stomach? - May 15th 2016, 09:15 PM

I just got out of the ER for a bad kidney infection. Having a hard time eating and keeping food down. What are some easy foods that you found nutritious? At this point I'm looking for anything.

we've escaped our capture

Laugh loudly, sing like no one's listening, dance like no one's watching, stay in the moment, get that adrenaline pumpin', deep breaths, be easy on yourself <3 PM me

Yogurt and Rice is easy.
Also, some simple soups, nothing fancy like a french onion, but simple soups.
grilled/steamed veggies.
Thats what works for me when I'm puking like crazy.

Fruits and veggies are easy for me.
Soups that are broth based and not cream based.
Meal replacement drinks can be useful as well. Like ensure.

I would suggest mashed banana, or mashed vegetables. Babies can tolerate that sort of thing, so there is a good chance that you will be able to. Meal replacement drinks might also be a good idea, to ensure that you are getting enough calories to be able to heal.

By the way, I just wanted to say how pleased I am that you went to the hospital. I know it wasn't an easy decision to make, but you did it.

Be kind to yourself.
