Exclamation Weight gain. - July 31st 2016, 11:07 PM

This thread has been labeled as triggering, particularly on the subject of eating disorders, by the original poster or by a Moderator. The contents of this thread might therefore not be suitable for certain sensitive users. Please take this into consideration before continuing to read.

So I weight edited lbs, and (I'm not trying to promote any type of Ed this is my own personal issue) and have been wanting to go down to editedlbs. however, I've noticed that I've gained weight instead, and I'm pregnant. I'm very upset about this and don't want a baby because I will get fat and things will get much worse and I will be more self conscious.

First of all weight numbers are not aloud on th because they can trigger.

I think you ave a serious problem. The weight you want to weigh is so low that you probably wouldn't be able to live. Your heart might give out at any moment. I really think you need to tell your doctor about this and get some professional help as well. Eating disorders are very destructive and take over your life. Please get help,.

I'll be very honest here. If you don't want this baby (and due to your circumstances there are plenty of reasons why you might not), you need to take steps to deal with that.

I mentioned Planned Parenthood to you several weeks ago and was wondering if you managed to make contact with them?

There are people who can help you, but you have to reach out to them.

I'm sure my aunt won't let me get an abortion.

If you want an abortion, you have that right regardless of your aunt and there are steps you can take to ensure that can happen. While there are laws requiring guardian permission, there are loopholes like in situations like yours. I can give you steps for that course of action if you are interested; I don't want to pressure you either way (as I also think your weight loss goals are unhealthy and unrealistic regardless of your child and still think you should receive help about it regardless) but you have the right to your own reproductive freedom.

Traci is right - you don't have to continue with this pregnancy if you don't want to. She is very informed about these sorts of things (the legal side of abortion is different in the UK where I live and I'm not familiar with US protocol), so please reach out to her if you want help with this.

We will be here to support you regardless of the decisions you make. But please don't just carry on, thinking that you have no choice.
