anything to say - August 16th 2016, 09:08 AM

Any suggestion for ED? Any steps that could really help a person with ED? I am foodie and I am someone who is very much affected by this? Anything to suggest?

Hello Debra,
Welcome to Teenhelp.
I am sorry to hear you're struggling with an eating disorder. Eating disorders can range in different behaviors such as starving, restricting, binging, purging, counting calories and various other things.

I am not sure what foodie means, but you're welcome to explain it. I am also wondering if you can tell us a little more about what you're going through. I know it is hard because eating disorders tend to be secretive by nature but teenhelp is a place that doesn't judge or makes you feel bad (at least that'd not the intention!).

I'm wondering if you speak to a counselor or a therapist? Also if you don't mind saying your age because that can help us understand who can possibly be of support during this tough time for you.

Take care of yourself
