I've made the decision to beat this - November 7th 2017, 04:31 PM

I'm at the healthy weight where my doctor said I should be bare minimum. I feel the only way to truly get over anorexia is to start body building because at the moment I am skinny flabby how do I go about building muscle. Has anyone else took this type of recovery route? Fitness?
My main concern is I don't know what to eat or how to do weights at the gym...

Don't be afraid of food, a lot of people's bodies convert latent metabolism to fat if you restrict long enough. See a nutritionist and start a fitness plan.

I would discuss this course of action with your treatment team because it is not uncommon for a person to go from having one type of eating disorder to another while trying to recover. And, there are people who develop an eating disorder surrounding having/building muscle. I do not think that this is a bad idea, per se, but because you do have an eating disorder you need to work closely with your treatment team.

Best regards.
