hey everyone! i haven't posted in over a year, sorry!
so not much has changed since i last posted...i'm still struggling with ed & i feel really ugly. but i've finished school & start university in october which should be okay I hope.
i'm am currently underweight, but still trying to lose more ://
idk what else to put tbh, but i'm not doing great atm.
I know I just sent you a PM about some other things, but I wanted to make a point of responding here as well. Eating disorders can be such a struggle, and they affect so many areas of a person's life. Talking about that isn't always easy.
Let us know if there's something we, as a community, can do to support you. Maybe it's an encouraging word, a reminder you don't always have to be "strong" and know the answers, or just being available as you look at where you are in life right now. One thing's for certain: you're not alone.
Eating disorders are very complicated things to understand and get under control. I know how much you have struggled with your ED and body image.
You say your underweight and still want to lose more. Or you acting on your ED at the moment? Or just don’t want to lose weight? In the past I know I have suggested a therapist and I believe you said your family doesn’t believe in them(I maybe wrong). But since you are 18 now can you get one yourself and not tell your parents? If you are still on their insurance maybe search for therapist that let you pay out of pocket and on a sliding scale.
I have missed talking to you, so I hope we can catch up. And just know I am always a Pm/VM/Chat away.
Your Friend,
Frankie<3

Hey! I've missed talking to you too! And I should be able to get my own therapist now, but I guess I don't even know where to start and I find it so hard to talk about things...if I went to my doctor they'd probably help me find a therapist but I'm scared (
But thank you for the advice! It means a lot!!! And it is really hard...it's because of my ed that I want to lose weight & get to an even lower bmi even though it's not healthy
