1. How long did it take you to get your hair back? How did you get it back? what did you eat/do?
I'm not so sure I can say I have it back. It's still really thin and dry. 2. What are foods to keep your hair healthy after it coming back? Just have to keep a balanced diet. Conditioner works wonders in combination with a balanced diet. ![]() 3. What do you eat now that you're recovered? I wouldn't say that I am recovered yet, I'm still struggling to recover. 4. Are you happier now than in your ED days? I suppose these still are partially my eating disorder days, though I'm not as bad as I was about a year ago. 5. What makes you think you're recovered now? I don't believe I am, nor do I think I ever really will be. I'll probably always feel it's easier to just not eat. Always have the urge to purge after I eat. Or want to binge. But they've become easier to deal with. 6. Do you weigh the same less or more now than before your ED? I weigh less now than before I ever had an eating disorder. 7. Do you feel fat now since you used to be skinnier with your ED? I've always thought of myself as fat before, though now reality is starting to set in and I can really see how unhealthy my weight is now. 8. Was recovering worth it? Recovery will be worth it, it already is proving that it is. 9. What made you decide to stop your ED? About a year ago I was in hospital because my body was starting to shutdown. Really made me realise how bad things had gotten and how little control I really had. 10. What's your motivation to not slip back into your ED days? Not ending up back in hospital like a year ago. 11. Did people know you had an ED when you did? People probably just figured it out on their own, I suppose. Though eating disorders aren't things people talk about. They're seen, but never really spoken about. 12. Any advice to me a recovering ED person? You can kick your eating disorders ass and show them who's got the control. Which is you, not your eating disorder. Thin isn't as beautiful as people like to believe. |
