Question I Don't Want To Change - January 6th 2011, 05:33 AM

This thread has been labeled as triggering, particularly on the subject of eating disorders, by the original poster or by a Moderator. The contents of this thread might therefore not be suitable for certain sensitive users. Please take this into consideration before continuing to read.

I don't want to change.
I mean, sometimes I do.
But I don't want to, not until I'm [Edited] of pure model.
Model's can't be fat. They can't be [Edited]. No, they have to be paper thin, so that the wind takes them away and up into the sky and slice through the clouds.
Models are perfect. Perfect skin, perfect teeth, perfect height, perfect weight.
Everyone loves models. Everyone remember's their names. Heidi Klum, Twiggy. Ann Ward.
Does anyone remember any of the Biggest Loser's names?
No. They don't.
I don't want to change.
I mean, sometimes... I do.

What is the perfect weight? What is the perfect height? Who chooses what is 'perfect'? The thing with height and weight is there is no exact number you have to be, there is just a range of numbers that are acceptable...or healthy. And most of the time these models are NOT healthy. They have a mental illness, and let me tell you right now Anorexia is NOT beautiful and it is certainly NOT perfect. Anorexia takes away everything you have, it takes away your social life, your happiness, your freedom, your ability to be coherent and to think straight. Anorexia takes away your strength, your energy and all things needed to live a normal life.
But you can't win with anorexia. You either gain weight, or you die. There is no way to live at such a low weight. You can't possibly win, so all that energy you lost by trying to lose weight all goes to trash, because you just have to gain weight in the end. Things have to change, don't let anorexia consume you! You are way better than this. You are closer to perfect without Anorexia. You really can do this
