I DO NOT HAVE AN EATING DISORDER AND I WILL NOT DEVELOP ONE!
i also have no clue where this is supposed to go so i just put it here... anyways. i need ways to make myself puke. no, its not to lose weight or anything like that. i realize that its dangerous to force purging, but i really need to. i'm the flyer on me cheer squad, and thats all great, but it also means i've got a lot more to learn and do. i also happen to be generally nervous... so before cheer i always get super jumpy and feel like i'm gunna puke. my friend noticed and said she gets nervous too, but if you puke you'll be fine afterwards. apparently it calms her nerves. normally, i'd look at her like she was insane, but i have a HUGE thing coming up (i'd rather not share details on what it is cause its really personal) and i just know i'm gunna like puke when i'm there... so i just wanna get it outta my system before hand. and i know its crazy, but i'm only going to do it that one time and then be done with it. oh... and i've been testing a couple things out to try and find something that'll work... i have absolutely no gag reflex.. i mean i gag but i don't puke. yeah, this is dangerous. but please spare the lectures because its a really important thing and i just can't throw up while im there and yeah... so ANY and ALL ways will be accepted. oh and could you PM them to me please? i don't want it like up online or anything like that so yeah. thanks everyone in advance. |

It would be irresponsible and innappropriate for anyone here to give you ways to make yourself sick. It's ok to be nervous about things, but do you throw up on your own when you're nervous, becuase if not I can't imagine that forcing yourself to do it would help any. It messes with your body chemistry and releases the natural chemicals in your brain that would help you recover from being sick like that. I know you say that you're only going to do it once, but if you discover that it works for you, you might be tempted to do it more than once.

I would find a better way to calm your nerves. Puking is terrible for your body, your throat, your teeth, everything. What she is doing is an unhealthy coping mechanism for stress.
I would recommend you do breathing exercises, or stretch when you're nervous. When I'm nervous for band, stretching helps because it does something I need to do anything and gives me something to focus on. Need anymore help, let me know.

Like Coffee said, it's really bad for you. I've been developing cavities from when i used to.

Coming from the mouth of someone who has had an eating disorder since her freshman year of highschool and is not in there freshman year of college, I am gonna say it would be incrediably wrong for us to give you ways to make yourself vomit. Like the others have said there are other ways to calm your nerves. Go for a walk, scream, ride a bike, anything. I doubt there is anyone here that is going to give you ways to hurt yourself. We want to see people getting better not aid in making them worse. I know as a staff member and even more so as a person I would feel really bad if I told you how to do this and found out it developed into something worse. Eating disorders, and disorders behaviors are nothing to mess with if you choose to do this regardless of what we have all said. I just want to say becareful it can turn out bad. I wish luck with whatever you are doing that is making you nervous and hope all turns out well for you.
