Grinding teeth - June 11th 2012, 09:25 AM

I think I grind my teeth in my sleep ... any idea how i can make it stop?

+1. I think I do the same thing, the dentist told me my teeth were so smooth that it's comparable to what a 40 year old would be going through.

I'm not exactly sure, but I think you should ask your dentist. They have mouth guards for that type of thing, however if you don't want one, they can probably give you other options.

A mouthguard really is the best option. Talk to your dentist, and they will be able to give you a custom fit mouth guard. Bruxation can also be a predisposition to TMJ problems, so I do recommend talking to a dentist and/or orthodontist.
