Angry My back >.< - August 22nd 2012, 03:02 AM

It seems my back isnt getting any better, it's actually getting worse. I can't bend down to pick anything up and if I do I get dizzy and my vision gets black. Sometimes my back hurts so bad I can't breathe or walk. The doctors don't know what's wrong with me, they've ran every test they could think of and everything came back fine. Only 2 things came back not normal, 1) in December they found out my vitamin D was extremely low so they put me on vitamin D supplements. 2) my reflexes were in the danger zone (they were too good) which apparently means my body overreacts to stuff wonderful. But by now my vitamin D should be normal and my reflexes shouldn't effect my back. Here's all of my symptoms I've had/have:
-spine, back, shoulder, neck, arms, hands, feet and leg pain
-fatigue
-dizziness
-black vision
-short-term memory loss
-breathing problems
-sensitivity to hot and cold
-numbness (face, back, neck, head, arms, hands, leg, feet)
-weakness (legs, feet, arms and hands)
-pain in the chest
-headaches and migraines
-tremors in the hands
-vertigo
Y'all ain't doctors and I know that but may as well see what y'all think. My main concern is sports, is it safe for me to continue them? I mean even if it isn't safe I'll still prolly play anyways but if it's fatal then I may change my decision...
I highly doubt it is fatal because the doctors probably would have found something but you never know.

*Edit: also wanted to add that it isn't from growing. That's what my dad thought but I haven't been growing much and certainly not in the past 6 months. It's been like this since October-November (somewhere between there.) originally it started off with a basketball injury (went to block a lay-up and landed with my left leg twisted which pulled a muscle in my lower back) but then turned into this.

Lol my mom said not until they find out what's wrong with me which apparently could take years. I told her by then I'd prolly be dead...she didn't find that funny. Thing is, I wasn't joking. Point is, they ain't listening to me. And I can't exactly drive and to get one myself I:

They would say, "your the child we're the adults. Don't tell us what to do."

Chiropractor? You could have knocked a bone out of place, which would cause problems like that. Or see a different doctor, since the ones you've been to haven't helped much. And if your parents refuse to take you anywhere, find someone else who will. You need to get better.

Sorry I couldn't be there, I was tied to a rocking chair.

My mom doesn't believe in chiropractors, says there not real doctors. The MRI's and x-rays would have shown that the doctors said. And I've already been to every doctor they can think of...there's really no where else for me to go. Basically I'm stuck until something huge happens.

I know you parents say they won't take you to a masseuse or whatever. But what about if you try saying the doctors aren't finding anything wrong and you're still in masses of pain, so isn't worth just trying anything once and see if it helps any? Say you're really desperate and you don't know what else to do. Point out that it's making you miss school and if it helps you wouldn't have to, I'm sure they'll like that. That's all I can say really keep trying with your parents. Don't try to tell them what to do, convince them it's a good idea to try it at least once.

Have your mri scans been done for all of your back? And have you seen the scans? Because it sounds like you might have a slipped disc that could be touching a nerve (which is what I have).

Or you could go to an oesteopath and see what happens then.

Hey, it might have something to do with your spinal fluid. You might have too much or there might be a leak. If you've ever had a lumbar puncture it may have knicked a vein and sent the fluid through your body, but if not your fluid might just be too high and if affecting your sense of pain. I'd suggest you get it checked out.
I had a high spinal fluid level and it turned out the pain was in my head.

Hope it helps,
Jay.

I'll try and convince them.

Yes, they have been done for all of my back. They took 4, 1 of my brain, 1 of my neck and 2 on my back. I personally haven't seen them, all I know is the doctor said they looked perfectly normal.

How do they test your spinal fluid?

(btw this is my other account...I'm SleepingSickness as well I: in case that was confusing)
