In pain - September 8th 2012, 11:46 AM

Okay, so I have had kidney failure before and this pain feels familiar but I don't know if it actually kidney failure, I havn't noticed any unusual darknening in my urine, although mum puts that blue stuff in so it would be hard to tell. But, the pain starts at he bottom of my back, it's more of a piercing sort of pain and it hurts terribly. If I massage it sometimes it goes away but sometimes I just have to sit still, not move and wait for the pain to pass. The last time I felt this pain was when I had a lumbar puncture and the pain happened in the same place on the right side of my back I'm really scared, I don't want to go back to hospital!

I believe that your safest option is to tell your doctor. None of us here could tell you what it is or even really guess for that matter. If you believe it might be something as serious as organ failure (especially seeing as you've been to the doctor for that before) I would try to make some sort of an emergency appointment with your doctor.

I haven't told them about the headaches I've been having, and that's a biggie. Damn, I hate my doctor, he's nice enough but it's awkward because me and mum started fighting in front of him.... he doesn't want to see me until after my MRI, I'll tell him then. Until then, I'll just watch for other side effects, I might just have punctured the stupi-okay, it may be serious..... If I've burned a whole through my kidney I could be in big trouble. If it's just failing because it isn't able to keep up, still trouble, oh COME ON! WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH MY FUCKING BODY! (sorry, Now I'm angry with myself, more so than before).

And I didn't exactly go to the doctors for that it sort of happened in hospital while I was there, they had to get a sample so I did they and it had keytones in it. It wasn't good, so I was immediately put on fluids and that seemed to help, but I've been drinking water and eating. It's not fair. I hate myself!

Jay.
