... What? - November 14th 2012, 01:45 AM

This thread has been labeled as triggering, particularly on the subject of eating disorders, by the original poster or by a Moderator. The contents of this thread might therefore not be suitable for certain sensitive users. Please take this into consideration before continuing to read.

I went around 30 hours without eating, and today during 7th period I ran out of the classroom and down to a bathroom because I suddenly felt like I was going to throw up. I didn't, but I could taste the bile in my mouth. Last year, I had gone almost 5 days without eating, and the same thing happened. However, last year, it happened all day, and everything I drank came back up without me prompting it to. One of my friends told me it was my body rejecting substance because of how I abused it, is that correct? And if so, why did it happen at almost 5 days then, and not even 2 days this time around?

It depends on quite a few things. Honestly, you should just eat. I know it's not that simple, but going that long is very damaging to your body.

I don't feel comfortable explaining why, as I do not want to encourage unhealthy eating/weight loss. But basically, there are several factors in why it is different this time. It could also be your stomach is beginning to digest things it shouldn't, which can cause nausea and vomiting. So you really need to eat regularly.

If you are interested in healthy weight loss options, feel free to PM me or Discombobulated, or make a thread here.
