What foods will help my energy levels? - November 26th 2012, 10:08 PM

I'm going to start eating healthier. I get tired REALLY easily and I think a change in my diet may help. What foods should I concentrate on eating to help increase my energy levels?

Hey
Eating things like fresh fruit, yogurt, and protein-based foods (fish, beans, poultry, tofu, milk, nuts, lean read meat) should be helpful. Fresh fruit have a lot of vitamins, fiber and simple carbohydrates in them, yogurt is a pretty good source of protein and carbs, and you could boost the carb level by having some granola with it or something, and then protein-based foods are...well...a good source of protein. Our bodies can't store extra protein, so when we consume protein our bodies typically burn it, creating energy. Something like that
Anyways. I hope this helps!
