Feeling lightheaded - January 2nd 2013, 06:00 PM

This thread has been labeled as triggering, particularly on the subject of eating disorders, by the original poster or by a Moderator. The contents of this thread might therefore not be suitable for certain sensitive users. Please take this into consideration before continuing to read.

So I've been fighting for ilregular and disorderly eating habits to not become and eating disorder for about three years. It's mostly been a losing battle, and this is where my question comes in to play. I can go days without eating and feel fine, while at other times I can hardly go over 5 or 6 hours before I feel lightheaded and dizzy. Has anyone else experienced this, or at least have enough knowledge to inform me of why this happens? Thank you!

First thing that comes to mind is maybe a difference in daily activity? Like maybe the days you're feeling lightheaded etc you're doing more then usual?

I've thought about that, but I'm not sure. It seems random. Like, for example, I could have eaten breakfast and lunch one day and black out during my afternoon classes. Or, I could go 3 days without eating during the week and feel fine. I don't play sports and I took gym last year, so besides things that aren't really physically taxing(walking to classes, choir/theatre rehearsal, etc.) I'm pretty much stationary all day.
