Allergy meds + asthma puffer - January 26th 2013, 06:35 PM

Hi all, just wondering if anyone knows if I can safely take nasal spray for allergies AND an asthma puffer (excersised induced asthma) in the same day? I will be asking my doctor on Monday if I don't get any definite answer or if no one knows, but I haven't been able to figure it out so any info would be appreciated thanks

Feel free to PM me if you ever need to chat or have questions

You probably can, but I would check the box of the nasal spray and/or puffer before mixing the two, you could also check online for any drug interactions between the specific medications.

I'm pretty sure you can, I know the ones we give in the ambulance have no interactions with that sort of thing (asthma medication is a steroid and allergy medication is antihistamines so they're not even the same). I am pretty sure that you can take them together but you could always check online to be sure.
