Question Is it MS? - May 11th 2013, 11:33 AM

My name is Paul, I'm 21 and in the uk (unfortunately) and I currently have diabetes, depression, dyspraxia, colourblindness and psoriasys.

Basically I had a severe vertigo attack which enduced vomiting, vertigo ( of course) headaches, blurred vision and welp... 'Leakage' lets say, whenever I urinated. That attack lasted for a week, and I was told it was a deer vertigo attack.

Since then they haven't stopped, and I was searching symptoms and they all seem to match up with MS, I have an appointment with my doctor in a few days and was wondering if I should say to them I think its ms as its usually a combination of symptoms and therefore very hard to diagnose.

I don't really know what I'm talking sbout, just wondering if anyone can think of anything else it could've considering how many diseases I already have

MS isn't hard to diagnose, there is a test (lumbar puncture) to diagnose MS.
If you think that's what you have bring it up with your doctor, then you and your doctor can talk about what symptoms you have and if it would be worthwhile to do the test. Always be honest with your doctor, or else they can't help you to the best of their abilities.

Ménière's disease is a possibility as well.. It's basically an inner-ear disorder that causes extreme vertigo/dizzyness and affects your balance as well.

But yeah, definitely talk to your doctor.. It could be MS, but there's no way of knowing without a spinal tap. (:

Feel free to PM/VM me if you ever need someone to talk to, or just want someone to listen. I'm also always up for making new friends.

Just to update, I've been to the doctors and I have a colonoscopy coming up, which kinda puts me on edge rather than worrying me lol, and another longer appointment which I have yet to book, but it'll be in a couple of weeks. They said it might be MS but I have a lot of tests in the near future, do you think I should tell people before I know, as a lot of the tests oils affect me for a few days and orce me to take some time off work, or maybe tell them about the tests but neglect to mention what they're for...
I fully understand the 'limbo' feeling I've heard about...
