Gaining your voice back quickly? - May 11th 2013, 12:48 PM

I'm sick, and I did a lot of shouting yesterday so my voice is very weak. Besides drinking lots of hot tea (which I'm doing), what else could I do to gain my voice back quicker? What should I put in the tea? I already know fresh ginger and some honey is really good, but anything else? I've been drinking the tea as hot as I can stand it.

Keep breathing through your nose and reduce breathing through your mouth.

You could use, Lemon Jucie, Hot Water, Honey.

Or coughdrops, or anything similar to that.

Try to prevent extreme coughing.

Keep your neck free of tight restriction...

"Scarfs, Tight zips, Buttons on shirts, etc..."

BUT only time will heal completely, a day or two.
