Itchy nose...?? - August 9th 2013, 02:12 PM

The tip of my nose and just inside it have been itchy for a good few days now - no idea why and it's so annoying!! It hasn't come with any other particular hayfever/cold/allergy symptoms, just a really itchy nose. Any idea why it's happening or how I can get rid of it?? :/

I'm not sure what that is about, really and since you said it doesn't come with any other symptoms then it's not likely a cold or allergies which is what I was suspecting it to be. However, I found ginger helps me breathe better when I have a stuffy nose. I'm not sure if you have a stuffy nose or trouble breathing (because you said no cold/allergy symptoms) with this itchy nose but it may help.

There's a lot of reasons for itchiness of the skin, sometimes it can be due to being bitten by an insect right down to the little hair fibres all over the body. General itchiness is just an irritation of the skin but I think if your problem persists, it may be a good idea to speak with your GP because if it lasts for more than a few days, it's a little of a concern.
