Itchy lumps :( - August 18th 2013, 04:40 PM

I get itchy lumps every now and then. I normally get them when I drink certain brands of orange juice (Tropicana is the worst >.>) But I do sometimes get them for no reason. I've had them since I was a kid. I also try my hardest not to scratch them because I scratched one as a kid and it turned really icky and infected so I had to have antibiotics.

This time they're REALLY, REALLY itchy >.> I have about 6 on my leg.

I normally just deal with them because they will go away within a few days. I can't stick them right now >.> They're driving me crazy. Would my GP give me anything? Like I said, they normally go by themselves but they aren't normally this bad. What should I put on them to stop the itching? >.>

I'm guessing it's some type of allergy, maybe to certain foods, but could also be to materials such as grass or something. If it's an allergy, a GP could give you an allergies test so you can find out what's wrong so that you could avoid it and possibly.give you meds to treat it.

That's good! For some reason, I'm guessing it's a product, maybe something in clothes or something that easily gets in contact with a lot of your body. It's best to find out so that you can avoid these products in general. I'm allergic to latex, and it's everywhereeee. Gloves, toothbrushes, condoms, bahh. I'm only mildly allergic to it so I just avoid it, but it's nice to know so that I can not get rashes!
