Weight loss - September 13th 2013, 12:52 PM

Ok, so I don't know if this belongs in this forum, because it's not really for my health, I'm not that overweight, and I'm pretty healthy now... But this is the only forum I felt was related...

Basically, here in Australia, Summers in 3 months (yay! warmness!) and mum said she'd take me and my friend to the beach and I want to wear a bikini (for the first time in my ENTIRE life...) but first I want to lose some weight in one particular area. I'm perfectly happy with my arms and legs, but it wouldn't bother me if I lost a bit more around there, I like my butt, but I just want to lose a bit of weight on my belly... Not a lot, just a bit. Anyways, what are some good exercises that particularly trigger belly fat, and not really other body parts as much? And how long would I have to do them for and how often? Honestly, I haven't really been this skinny since... Well kindergarten I think, when I was around 8, I was size [Edited.] (do. not. judge. ) But now I'm about a size [Edited.] or [Edited.]... But I can fit a [Edited.] if I really really wanted to... And think about it; I've grown a lot since then, what with puberty and everything.

Anyways, I'm eating decently... But I need exercises, for beginners. Oh, and I CAN'T do anything that requires me lifting my body weight... e.g. pushups, chin ups, I can do a couple fake pushups but not with proper posture... Maybe one, but it hurts like hell..

Sorry to tell you this Alana, but there isn't a way of reducing fat in any particular area. Basically, when you use more energy than you get from food you will burn fat (first, then muscle if you're really using a lot more energy), but you can't tell your body where you want to get it from!

What you can do is exercises that target particular muscle groups, and build up those muscles. Unfortunately, I can't tell you which exercises to do

Feel free to email/PM/VM/whatever me if you want. I'll answer as soon as I can.
