Eating healthy = slight stomach cramps and wind - December 10th 2013, 06:35 PM

This is kind of embarrassing but I thought I'd ask anyway I'm now eating healthy. I'm been eating a LOT more fruit and vegetables and barely been eating any processed food. Problem is I'm having slight stomach cramps and been having a lot of wind Will my body get used to it? I did used to eat a lot of junk food.

It'll be fine, I have the same. It doesn't mean anything is wrong, you will get used to it after a while : and obviously, you'll see other effects of eating healthy

It's probably just the change in diet that means your body has to get used to it That and all the extra fibre you're eating from the fruits and veggies!

I wouldn't worry about it too much, after a couple of weeks it should settle down. Hope this helps!

Yeah, I think it's just the extreme change in diet. But good on you! I would struggle to cut of junk food. I think your body will get used to it in time.

Thanks ^____^ I just go through weird phases in my life where I will do something drastic spur of the moment and will set my mind into doing it, like giving up smoking This seems to be one of them

Good good, I was thinking I would have bad wind forever

Yeah, this is because your body is adjusting to eating healthier. This will go away in time as you keep eating the way you are currently.

My mum just told me she's having the same problem She's eating healthier too. I'm a trend-setter.
