back pain - February 13th 2017, 07:09 PM

basically for like the past couple of weeks or so... ive been waking up with back pain and a stiff back it then eases off throughout the day... its not my bed or matress as we like replaced me bed and me matress yesterday... but this morning i still like woke up with back pain and a stiff back.... what can i do? its making it hard to like actually move around first thing in the morning? i dont on my bed during the day i have a bean bag chair for that.... i currenlty sit in my bean bag chair and like use a cushion as a back support when im in my bean bag chair.

Hi Lydia,

I completely understand back pain! I threw my back out yesterday while shoveling the driveway!

You mentioned that you replaced your bed yesterday, however for the first few days you might still have back pain after waking up. This should ease off after a bit. Another thing you can try is to go for a professional massage, this helped my back as well.

You should also consider exchanging your pillow. I hope this helps!

ah okay - i sleep on two pillows - i mighyt get me mum to look at me back as shes a physio! are you sure we arent twins?

After our discussion last week I'm not sure, I think you should ask your mom if you're adopted

With pillows your spine should stay in line. (hehe that rhymed). If this isn't the reason then there could be other issues. Let me know

yeah nah im pretty sure im not. i mean mums pretty admaant she bought me home from the hosptial haha.
yeah im thinking part of its to do with my bean bag chair im sitting in it now and am like getting back pain and neck pain my desk chair like just as bad..... im using like two cushions..... one to support my lower back and one to like support my upper back.

Are you warm enough at night?

I finally got an electric blanket which helped me relax.

I also never believed in chiropractors until a friend recommended one to me. Now I go once a month and it's helped.

I'm warm enough at night i have like a 15.5togg duvet/quilt.... and use a blanekt over the top of that.... ive changed matress and am still having trouble with my back....
