I'm not sure that water fasting is the best way to go about it. There are many dangers to water fasting, especially since there's no 'quick fix' to lose weight and you can't specifically lose weight in one area anyway.

It's probably best that you talk with your doctor about your weight and what you can do to lose weight in a healthy way (combining healthy eating with exercise).

NO! Do not deprive your body of water to lose fat. (a) Its just temporary. the minute you drink some water it comes back (b) Its not healthy. There is a reason a lot of stars have doctors and stuff 24/7. Missing water for extended periods creates
issues in the kidneys.

Work out to lose fat, and if you just can't lose belly fat (happens) well, thats your body, love it and own it

You can't just loose belly fat precisely. It would take you reducing your fat percentage overall to slim out in that case.

The risk I took was calculated, but boy, am I bad at math.

that won't even make you lose fat, let alone belly fat specifically. it'll just make you lose water weight, which fluctuates anyway.

the only real way to lose belly fat is with a good, clean diet and a high cardio exercise routine like HIIT.

Water fasting is dangerous and it definitely doesn't really cause you to lose weight. It might appear as though you have lost weight but once you go back to normal you will gain the weight back because most, if not all, of what you will lose will be water.

If you want to lose weight I would suggest that you talk to a doctor so that they can give you some tips on how to go about it in a healthy manner. Adding 30 minutes of exercise a day and eating healthier would probably help. And, as stated, a high cardio exercise routine could also help.
