Wet shave or dry shave?

I personally find wet shaves with a razor to be the best.

A lot of it depends on your hair's thickness as well and the razor you use.
I prefer shaving during/after a shower, the hot water seems to help soften the skin and prep the 'whiskers' for what's to come xD. I don't think there is really a method for a "Perfect" shave for everyone, each person has their own preferences and 'needs' when shaving, i think the more you try it the better you will get n_n;

Use shave cream/gel and shave in the opposite way the hair grows.

But if you shave in the opposite way there's more chance of in grown hairs. Try using shaving foam I find it helps me to stay smoother. Also, depending on what area you're talking about shaving, why not try something like hair removal cream? There's no prickliness afterwards, I used to use it but I became allergic to it so =[
