Mold allergy - August 24th 2018, 12:29 AM

My dorm room has a bit of a mold problem. They got rid of the spots on the carpet and got us new chairs before I moved in, but there are spots that still have issues like under the sink and the other bedroom.

I immediately started having allergy symptoms, so I asked my roommate to pick me up some allergy pills. I'm just wondering if there's anything else I can do to kind of minimize the issue/the symptoms?

Hmm, ideally you'd need to find out what's causing the mold and sort that out as well as remove the mold. This article might help with that.

The only other thing I can think of would be to try getting a dehumidifier to prevent build up of moisture causing mold. May ease the symptoms a bit.

Hope others can help you figure out how to deal with the allergy symptoms!
