Brain Tumour - December 2nd 2019, 11:15 AM

About a month ago I was diagnosed with a brain tumour. The chemo has got me ill at the moment, I feel useless and disgusting because of how ill I am. I have been given 6 years to live if I keep having the chemo, they said I could live longer if I keep fighting. I am feeling so down and depressed because of it all.

I'm really sorry to hear that you were diagnosed with a brain tumour a little while ago. That in itself is a lot to take in. The chemotherapy sounds like its taking its toll on you too. But you aren't useless or disgusting. You are ill and trying your best to get through this.

Being told you have a tumour, going through chemotherapy and being told you have 6 years, but possibly longer to live, sounds like a lot to deal with and it's natural you may feel down and depressed. Have you been giving information for emotional support e.g counselling or support groups? Many people will feel similar to you and it can help to get professional support or talk to others in a similar situation. We are all here for you too
