Ear infection? :|

I just woke up with a really really bad pain in my right ear. It's really sore it's a little swollen and the right side of my face is hurting a bit too.

I just took pain killers but what may make the swelling go down?

I love how I get this as soon as I need to go back to college >_____< fml.

this happened to me and it actually turned out to be a problem with one of my teeth - weird, i know. but it does sound like an ear infection to me, go to your GP and get some meds to clear it up?.. or alternatively pop into boots and see what the pharmacist suggests, theres probably something you can get over the counter that'll do just as good a job. :]

Did you clean your ears too much ? If so, then it could be irritation from the cleaning on the ear muscles.

And also, what elle said is just as equally possible. Since the jawline and the top part are connected, the muscles are also connected( Not very sure of this). But just as elle said, try it out and also think about what you did the night before or any habit you have that you did just before sleeping or a few days before.

And finally it could just be that you slept in a bad position and that your side was hurt/irritated.

It could possibly be an ear infection, to make the swelling go down you might need some sort of cream or maybe tablets, you should go to your doctor they will know what to give you to fix it!
