adenictomy and tonsillectomy - February 5th 2010, 07:20 PM

I am on the waiting list for a definate tonsillectomy and possible adenoidectomy. I have been on the waiting list for coming up seven months.

I live in the UK Scotland to be precise and I am getting it done on the NHS and not privately. Any ideas on how long the lists are?

I was told four months but it's been longer.

I was told I would get priority as I am under eighteen...But I really need them out soon. If someone could reply I would be greatful

thanks

Seven months IS a long time. Maybe you should call up the ENT clinic or wherever it was you got seen and speak to them. Or speak to your doctor and ask s/he to chase it up.
