My dad had the same thing happen to his mustache, it could be stress or an allergy to the make up, if it's an allergy and you stop using it they should grow back, othewise I don't know what to do, sorry.

Well, losing hair on your eyelashes/eyebrows is just the same as losing hair on your head; more hair is growing in. Maybe it's just an odd timing where a significant row decides to grow in--this could also be stress or some other neurogical disorder (or even diet?) that could cause that as well.

But I don't think it's that big of a deal. You lose at least 60 hairs off of your head a day, so there is probably an average for your eyelashes as well. So.. don't worry! :P

I want to get inside your mind;
I want you to expand mine.

I would guess it is the make-up. Try not using it for a couple of weeks and see if they grow back. I'm sure you're pretty enough without make-up anyway.

Hey there Sammie,

I haven't personally noticed this happening to myself but after having a look around the internet, it seems that it's not all that uncommon! The good news is, like normal hair elsewhere, your eyelashes will grow back. It could possibly be caused by allergies, where the eyelids swell and so eyelashes fall out. If you suspect that is the case then you could try out using an eye drop for allergies. If you're really concerned about this though, you could talk to your doctor or talk to your dermatologist about this problem.

Take care.
