Lump? - February 26th 2010, 01:29 AM

I'm sorry if anyone finds this.. disguisting.
But I have a lump in my tissue - down there. The muscle connecting your lower thigh to your well-you-know.
The dilema is; I don't know if it's something to get worried over or if it's extremely common.
I am currently addicted to exercise, so I don't know if I pulled a muscle or if it's even an ingrown hair.
But it's the size of the end of my finger, purplish-fleshy colored, not sensitive to touch, and I've had it for awhile now.
Has anyone experienced this? Should I be worried?

You will come to realize that what appears today to be a sacrafice will prove instead to be the greatest investment you ever made.

Eh, it could be a lot of things. Since it's purple, it could be a bruise. Yep, it could also be an ingrown hair. There are also a lot of glands in that region that can become swollen or infected.

Herpes problems are usually painful.

Is it ulercated or bleeding?

If it bothers you, go to a doctor. They will be able to tell you for certain what it is. Otherwise, wait and see if it goes away.
