This Is Irritating. - February 28th 2010, 10:59 PM

Everytime before my period, I get really gassy and I fart alot. I know, that's nasty. But I don't want to be gassy all the time, and of course I'm feeling bloated and I break out and sometimes my boobs get sore but not this time, they're not sore this time. Usually my boobs feel a little bigger and I feel bigger. I was just wondering is there any kind of medication I can take to make this PMS stop?

Maybe try something to help with the cramping?

It tends to be the cramps that lead to the gassiness, myself and my gf experience the same thing. And yeah, it's nasty, but unfortunately that's life.

I don't think there's anything much that can help with the breaking out, that's a hormone thing. Obviously stuff like taking extra special care of your skin around when you get your period will lessen it, but it most likely won't go away completely until you're in your twenties and your hormones have calmed down. Most women get a few PMS type pimples until they reach menopause.

But yeah, for the gassiness thing, see if you can get something to help with cramps. Because the uterine muscle movements affect the muscle movements in your intestines, so on so forth.
