What Does This Mean?

So I went to the doctor for my sudden illness.

We had to give them a culture test and it was supposed to come back today, but they said it's still pending. All that they could gather from it was that there was live blood cell found in my stool- which scared me.

What does that mean? Is there something seriously wrong with me?

Symptoms

• Vomitting (the first night (Thursday) it was every 30 minutes. I haven't thrown up since Friday, but I still get the urge)
• Diahrea (stopped on Friday- poop is starting to solidify again, but I don't get much poop now)
• Dizziness
• fever
• drainage (This one started today)

Hey Mariah,

How scary. Did they get the results back yet? This could be indicative of a number of things, and since I'm not a doctor, I don't feel like it's right for me to list them all for you--mainly because I don't KNOW, and it would just involve me searching google or something! Did your doctor give you any indication of what this could be? I hope you have an answer soon and it's nothing super scary.

Well he said that it could have been a virus. Some of the culture came back and I DO NOT have food poisoning

But my poop was yellow and when I looked that up it said that it could be a bacterial infection in the intestines and stomach- which is what they told me today. Although we won't have the exact results back until tomorrow, I'm already feeling better.

My stool is browning again, my appetite is coming back and I don't feel as nauseous- not to mention I can hold stuff down now.

So I imagine that it was just a nasty infection that had to run it's course. But I won't know for sure until tomorrow.

I have absolutely no idea what it could be, but I wanted to drop by and say I hope your OK!
I hope they find out what it is quickly, and I hope you continue to get better.

Well I think I'm getting better. I can actually hold stuff down.

But today I went back to school and I felt kind of bad. I went to the nurse's office so that I could take my nausea pills (I have to take them every 4 hours) and they said that I couldn't have them with me- so they took them from me and wouldn't let me take them...because APPARENTLY I look like I'm on drugs. Nah, I know it's regulation, but still. I couldn't access my only relief all day.

So, I was afraid to eat too much, since I didn't have my meds. Thus, I only ate a few crackers for lunch.

Now my Mom is urging me to eat more because she thinks I can handle it, but I'm wondering if I can.

Oh, and the doctor STILL hasn't reviewed my culture results thoroughly...which should have been done Monday. I.want.to.know.what's.wrong.

But it turns out he meant to look over it today, but had to suddenly go over and perform a procedure on someone at the hospital.

So going to school makes me nervous, so I don't feel good most of the time. I have to keep my mind occupied so that I won't feel sick. But I have a hard time focusing at school, so I feel sick.
