Dreaming - April 4th 2010, 01:21 AM

Is it possible to NOT dream?
Because.. I remember my dreams, but usually when im sleeping, I close my eyes, see black, wake up
And on the rare occasion i DO dream because i remember them all..

I understand that 'Everyone dreams but dont always remember it'
But yeah..

Its weird :s Do you get what i mean?

Well, think about it: are you aware the whole time you're seeing asleep? I would guess you don't. It's more like you fall asleep, and then you wake up but you don't really remember being asleep. If you can't remember not dreaming, you can't make the assumption that you didn't dream since there's proof that everyone dreams when they are asleep.

Sorry if that didn't make any sense.

Okay great lol. So what exactly are you wondering about? Because what you described seems perfectly normal to me. Sleep is a pretty weird thing, though.

There are 3-5 cycles of REM when you sleep. When you don’t you just can’t remember it. But you do always have one. We go through a bunch of stages of sleep, because you are in that deep of a sleep, your conscious mind has no way of picking up little specks of memory.

Everyone is born right-handed. Only the greatest overcome it.
