Shoulder throb for years - April 9th 2010, 09:13 AM

Hey

Ever since i was five i have had this really painfull throbbing in the small area between my chest and shoulder (around the CollerBone area).

It lasts for like 30 seconds before dissapearing and it happens every now and then. What could be causing this?

I'm really not sure. Have you seen a doctor about this?

If you haven't, you really should. Just as a precaution. If it's hurting you, it's most probably not good for you

You need a physical to truly determine the cause, could be a torn and scarred muscle or a bone spur.

Hey there Will,

I also think that you should try and see a doctor about this throbbing in your shoulder - it seems like it must be annoying for you. Also, seeing as you've had this pain since you were five, it'd really be worth getting it checked out, it certainly seems to be persisting.
Hopefully, after a physical examination from your doctor, they will be able to determine what's causing the pain and perhaps be able to alleviate it.

Take care.
