warts - September 5th 2010, 02:58 AM

okay guys, I am not talking about the STI...

I use to get them on my feet when I was little and none of the medicines ever worked. I then had surgery to get them removed. I haven't had any warts for about 10 years. A few days ago I found one on my finger.

I was wondering if anyone has had warts?

What products do you think works best?

I am currently using bandaids that have medicine on them.

Gah I hate warts. I've always had to get mine cut out by the doctor or burned off. It sucks. I haven't had one in soo long though. *knocks on wood*

I hope what you're using works for you!! Is it Dr. Scholl's?

There is always hope. PM me anytime.

God, I hated mine..I used to have them on my hands. I went to my dermatologist and they used two different treatments, one was Liquid Nitrogen, which hurt like HELL, but only for like 5 minutes. The other kind i tried was some kind of acid treatment, which hurt even more than the Liquid Nitrogen, and for a lot longer too. However, both were effective, and I've been clear for almost 5 years now! ^_^

Long story short: See a Dermatologist. They have a lot of different treatments and can help you figure something out.

Yeah, anything liquid for home. DO NOT DO IT. It hurts. I did the name brand (I think) bandaid's and they worked fairly well on my ankle but it took FOREVER. Then I got lazy and stopped, and it kind of went away on it's own. But, yeah, I'd see a doctor. They know so much more

Mine all went when I had the HPV vaccine.
My doctor did say they usually go by themselves though as it is a virus in your body.

God, lucky! I developed about 4 after the vaccine I gave up on those gels where you file them down and got one where you just leave it on and it worked great. Think it was a bazuka one. Long story short without being too gross, put on gel, leave for few days, watch bits drop off, repeat.

I used to get them on my hands, and I tried almost everything over the counter. I would go see a dermatologist, and get it medically removed. House-hold items didn't really work for me.

But those sequins on her dress.. boy, they threw you over the edge.
