Hey
It could be down to a number of reasons, such as stress and diet or even a medical condition. I would say to just keep an eye on it and if it gets worse then go to your doctor to be on the safe side. xx

on another note, it could also be because you died your hair recently...it can weaken the hair sometimes

I was going to write the exact same thread!
It's horrible isn't it?! And I'm sorry I have no advice other than to say that you're not the only one, believe me!

At first I thought that it could be because of the heat I use on my hair, but I havent used a haridryer or straighteners in agesss so it can't be that :/

I have no idea what could cause this sorry...

I would not worry so much about it for, it may make it seem worse than it is. It could be the cause of stress, or like above someone mentioned diet too. Try and figure out if you are worrying about anything recently and try to not worry as much about them, maybe avoid using products on your hair, straightening, and anything like that.

Hey there,
It's common to lose a bit of hair everyday, but if you're losing alot and it's not because it's damaged from what you do to your hair (ex. dyeing or straightening it often), then you may want to mention it to a doctor the next time you have an appointment.

Stress and having poor nutrition/an eating disorder, are also reasons as to why you may be loosing alot of hair. This is because your body is not getting the right protiens, vitamins, and minerals it needs to maintain healthy hair.

Again, if you're losing alot of hair, talk to the doctor. They'll be the best person to refer to, to get an accurate answer to your question. Take care. :]

Stress is a pretty common cause of this.

And it's happening to me, too, so don't feel like you're alone

You probably want to keep a hair count. For 24 hours, count the number of hairs that fall out and put them in a Zip-Loc. After you're done, if you're losing more than 150 hairs a day, I would go to a dermatologist...I have the same problem, but its getting a little better
