cramps ? - October 31st 2010, 02:33 PM

i keep really bad cramps, in my legs, and feet like i can just be sat still and my foot will cramp today i was in the car and my calf muscelle just cramped, i've recently lost lots of weight, could this be causing the cramps ? i mean the cramps are getting pretty bad like the one i had today in the car - i couldnt move my leg and it was like a stabbing shooting pain in my leg, since the cramp in my leg has gone im limpin around, my mum told me to do stretches but they didnt help, and when i touch my leg where it cramped, i can feel a lump and my leg feels all tight where it cramped. is it worth seeing the doctor about this or will it just get better on its own ?

I don't know exactly the reason behind the cramps that you get. But the first thing that came to mind is bad circulation. This could have nothing to do with it, so don't take my word for it. But I would definitely advise seeing a doctor. They will be able to do some tests and find out what's wrong.

I hope it gets better, take care

Hey there,

You can actually find out a lot about muscle cramps here. A lot of vitamin deficiencies can cause cramps, so it's worth seeing your doctor and getting blood tests. Also dehydration. These are the most obvious ones, but obviously I would recommend seeing your doctor for a check up.
