Take some paracetamol and see if that helps. Also try using a hot water bottle or having a bath, the warmth should help.

I find that heat and exercise work best. Anything that keeps my mind off it, really. Try hot drinks and heat pads or hot water bottles and a bit of jogging! That tends to work for me. Swimming, too. Whatever you feel up to, but I'd definitely recommend something hot on it.

I use ibuprofen and paracetamol. And also lovely hot water bottles

I always take 2 ibprophen every 5-6 hours for the first couple days after that the pain is tolerable and I might go down to 1 every 6 hours. Heat also helps.
