I popped a cystic pimple...:/ HELP! -

I had a cystic pimple on my chin, and I'm very impatient so I tried to pop it. I put a hot washcloth on it and I popped it using a (sterilized) needle. Now, it's all red and inflamed, and VERY painful. I don't want it to scar, so what should I do now? Right now, I put bacitracin on it and covered it with a bandaid so I don't pick at it anymore.
P.S. I have a really big date on Saturday, so anything that will help it go away faster will be a lot of help! |

I've never actually had one of those, but I have heard that they are very painful. I'm not sure what will take away the pain, but I have heard that putting toothpaste on pimples at night right before going to bed will make them smaller. Oh, I also found this website, it might help.

Put some ice on it, this will sooth the redness and shrink the pimple size. Then put toothpaste on at night to dry it out and shrink it even more. If you have any aloe vera or any kind of aloe that would be good to put on it to sooth the redness and its also a good moisturizer.

Don't put toothpaste on it if you popped it... It's an open wound.
Best thing you can do is put some anti-septic on it, preferably one that contains something to take the edge off the swelling and keep it covered. Don't put anything else on it as it may become infected and that will scar... Happy to talk about anything and everything.
