So if anyone remembers me from a long while ago, I've been trying to lose weight for a while now with limited success.
Recently - about 3 or maybe 4 weeks ago - I decided to get off my fat ass and start exercising. I did about 10-15 minutes of jump rope, by then I usually get bored so I change to dancing for around 10 or so minutes, and end with a few leg strength exercises since my leg needs strength exercises to help the injury. Despite me hating exercise, I was starting to like it more. It was torturous, but yet it still felt good, and I generally felt healthier even though I hadn't even lost weight yet.
Then about 2 weeks ago I got sick. To be honest, I'm really pissed and this is taking a huge toll on not my body but my mind. I finally stood up and did something, and I felt like I had just been shot down again. I'm still sick now, and I'm not so patiently waiting to get better so I can start exercising again.
Anyways, to the point - since I haven't been able to exercise for the last few weeks, I've tried to just eat my best since I can't do much else (and to my dismay, I still don't really see much of a difference). I've been counting calories for a while, and I'm wondering if eating around [smaller number of calories] calories is too little? Yes, I know I'm not supposed to post caloric figures, but I really want to know so please help. I ask this because I did some research and found (though I know this well already, when will it get through my thick head) that eating too little will just slow down my metabolism and make me fatter. I find that even when I eat this little I am content and full most of the time. Should I up it a little to around [slightly larger number of calories] or even [larger number of calories] calories?
